A-Z Sentence

A bonkers cat donning elephant feet goes hardily in just knightly linens meowing nightly over plain queens rising so triumphantly, ultimately voicing, "We x-rayed your zebras."

On the Spot

Here is an on the spot poem:

You are my breath
And every beat of my heart.
You are the song of the wind
And the beauty of every rose.
You are my love and my life.

It is a start. Just something I was thinking of since Valentine's is fast approaching.

Hmm........

It has been a while since I posted here. Have been working on getting my old journals digitized. Adding new journal pages. Updating a cookbook I have. So far that is all the writing I have done as of late.

I have so many ideas for stories but it can be difficult to get those ideas on paper and have it make any sense. I put in my calendar to write something everyday. That is one of my New Year's resolutions. To finish a work of fiction. Granted it hasn't gone well so far, but it is still early in the year.

Hopefully the next post I make is a something that I got written. Until then...

What to write about

I am stuck. I have several ideas for a story and lots of reasearch. I just can't seem to get started on the actual piece.

Should I write a dreamworld. A place that takes you where you dreams lie. Where you could be anyone or anything. Where you can alter reality itself and make it either a peacefully place or your worst nightmare.

Or should write a thriller about a devious person that tortures his victims. Leaves no evidence and no obvious motive.

Oh the dilema!

Rain (Very Rough Draft)

I stood in the rain as I let myself become drenched. The cool breeze added to the chill. My heart was happiest in the rain. It allowed me to cry without letting anyone else know I was doing so. It also allowed creativity to flow like warm blood through my veins. Today it was a good day to cry.

First Helpful article

This website was the first I found that was rather helpful. It allows you to build a story from one sentence. It is called the 'Snowflake Method of Writing.' All you Jurassic Park fans may get a kick out if the idea as the 'Snowflake Method' in general was used through out the book.
