I stood in the rain as I let myself become drenched. The cool breeze added to the chill. My heart was happiest in the rain. It allowed me to cry without letting anyone else know I was doing so. It also allowed creativity to flow like warm blood through my veins. Today it was a good day to cry.

First Helpful article
This website was the first I found that was rather helpful. It allows you to build a story from one sentence. It is called the 'Snowflake Method of Writing.' All you Jurassic Park fans may get a kick out if the idea as the 'Snowflake Method' in general was used through out the book.

Uncharted Territory
In the depths of the African rainforest there is a world unkown to mankind. A world that could either help us find the secrets of our Earth or destroy it. One scientist had already lost his life in this place he dubbed "Hell." Will his daughter and a team of scientists figure out the key or perish with him?

Writer's Block
I have so many ideas for a book, and yet I can not seem to get them on paper and have it make sense.
Here are some of the ideas I have. Let me know what you think.
1. One person's dream will save the world.
2. Earth spinning into a black hole.
3. Secrets from an ancient world. (Leaning towards Chichén Itzá, Mexico and Machu Picchu being apart of it)
4. Something to do with an Adam and Eve of the present that saves man kind. (that one is my least favorite as it is the one that needs more kinks worked out to make a good book.)
I was also thinking of creating a mystery book. I figure that I love watch things like that. CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Bones, and Cold Case being just a fraction of those types of shows that I watch. The only thing is I can not think of a "Perfect Crime" that would be so enticing.
So many ideas and yet I can not get it to paper.

Trapped
Driving down a dark mountain road; I had the windows of my Dodge Ram rolled down, letting in the crisp summer breeze. My long auburn hair was tickling the back of my neck.
Classical music whispered out of the speakers. With the peaceful sound of the river and the soothing lullaby of crickets was almost too calming. Then that sound of seemingly untouched wilderness was replaced by squealing tires and crunching metal.
It ended as quickly as it started. All I remember is a blinding light, and then a tree was sticking out of the hood. Then the world went dark. When I came to I saw that I was no longer in the truck. Instead I lay sprawled on the ground in the middle of a clearing.
I sat and glanced over myself. There was not a scratch on me. Even my yellow sundress was still as wrinkle free as it was when I left my friend’s wedding. However, my body screamed a different story.
I stood and looked around. The road and my truck was nowhere to be seen. All that was familiar was the sound of the river, so I started climbing.

Where Are You?
Where are you when the tears fall down my face?
You are right beside me, wiping them away.
Where are you when I wish for days to be erased?
You are there reminding me of better days.
Where are you when I am scared and alone?
You are there beside me standing strong.
When darkness falls upon me where are you?
You are there holding my hand and guiding me through.
You are there beside me and holding on.
You feel my pain and keep me going strong.
You keep me calm when I just want to scream.
You are my guardian angel whom will never part.
You've been there beside me from the start.
